  1. vsftpd 3.0.3 is available in Rocky Linux 8.
  2. Ideally, it won’t work out because binaries/libraries/code development of vsftpd package in CentOS 7 and Rocky Linux 8 would be different.
  3. Installing vsftpd 3.0.3 on CentOS 7 can create unnecessary issues in the system and highly not recommended.
