Was Quagga removed from Rocky Linux 8 repos?
How can we implement OSPF in Rocky Linux 8?

How to Fix

Quagga was the package used in previous RHEL versions for such scope. However, as mentioned in BZ1668780, Quaggua was removed since its routing stack is outdated and not being maintained upstream. However, starting from Rocky Linux 8.1 we do support FRR package which is based on Quagga and has a more active upstream community with contributions from cumulus, bigswitch, vmware, orange, 6wind and others. The implementation was tracked in BZ1657029 and released with RHEA-2019:3427 – Product Enhancement Advisory errata.
